Harold doesn't push. Doesn't demand. Just shows up. Coffee she didn't ask for. Repairs she didn't need. Six months of almost, until the night she stops running.

Fifty-two years later, he's gone. She's still in Apartment 1E, across from the mailboxes, watching every fool in this building stumble toward love the same way she did.
